My experience

Becoming the IT Officer of the 22nd Board at CSA was not an easy decision for me. The role came with lots of responsibilities, a leadership position, and technical challenges. At the time, I knew that there were areas where I still had much to learn, both in terms of leadership and technical skills. Despite this uncertainty, I decided to take on the challenge, and looking back, it turned out to be one of the most unique and valuable experiences I have had. Stepping into a leadership role for the first time was both exciting and challenging. Throughout the year, I faced many new situations that required me to learn quickly, take initiative, and support others in the team. There were certainly ups and downs along the way, but each challenge helped me grow and develop new knowledge and skills. One of the most rewarding aspects of the experience was leading a very hardworking and capable IT team. Together, we supported the needs of the board and various committees, while also continuing the development of the GM Platform and maintaining the association’s IT infrastructure. I was fortunate to work with team members who each brought their own strengths and potential, and it was a great experience to guide and collaborate with such a dedicated group. Looking back, I am very grateful for the team I had and for the opportunity to work with them as well as the 22nd Board. The experience was not only about technical development or leadership, but also about the people I met along the way. I built meaningful relationships, created great memories, and had the chance to meet many inspiring individuals. For me, this journey with the 22nd board will always remain an unforgettable experience.
