CSA 23rd board recruitment

MARKETING OFFICER

The Marketing Officer is responsible for the brand image of CSA. You will be acting like the wall in between the association and its external parties where you will be monitoring all marketing activities that are passing through. By developing marketing strategies for the association and through promotion on various social media platforms, you will be increasing brand awareness for our different brands.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Marketing Officer is mainly responsible for the brand image of CSA, in order to create a consistent brand through various promotion channels, and increasing brand awareness of our association based on each of our four pillars. The duties of a Marketing Officer include thinking about and determining marketing strategies to promote events, and build and retain relationships with CSA’s audiences.

Outside of CSA’s audience, you are also responsible for connecting with CSA’s Partners, working toward a mutually beneficial collaboration with local partners to create value for them and our members.

My experience

Serving as a Board member and CSA’s Marketing Officer during CSA’s new rebranding from CSA-EUR was a greatly enriching experience. Stepping into this role required me to brainstorm new strategies and identify areas where the association’s marketing could be improved to reach more audiences. As the supervisor of the Partnership Committee, I worked on developing new ways to enhance partner relationships, strengthening my understanding of collaboration and partner acquisition. An important part of my role involved supporting CSA’s rebranding initiatives. I contributed to the development of a new brandbook and to clarifying our renewed brand identity, helping establish a more cohesive, recognizable, and future-oriented image for CSA. Beyond strategy, I found great fulfillment in mentoring and guiding Active members. By leveraging my previous committee and leadership experience, I shared knowledge and made quality of life improvements across the association. Overall, my time on the Board significantly enhanced my leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, offering learning opportunities that extended well beyond those available through committee involvement alone.
